2018 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
MOUNTAIN LAKE PUBLIC LIBRARY

A “Make & Take” craft activity will be held every Wednesday afternoon from June 13 through July 25 (excluding July 4). This is a “come & go” activity and children may stop by any time between the hours of 12:00-3:00 p.m. All ages are welcome to craft days but preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

STORY TIMES for preschool ages through grade 2 will be held every Friday morning at 10:30 beginning June 15 through July 27.

Thursday, June 7 – 1:00 p.m. – “LIBRARIES ROCK KICK-OFF” featuring
KID POWER WITH RACHAEL – Minnesota’s only interactive music and educational animal show with an emphasis on kindness. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

Tuesday, July 10 – 1:00 p.m. – Local performer, LUKE WINGER will present a high energy program using stories, juggling, and audience participation. This will be an outdoor program at the library, weather permitting, so bring a blanket or lawn chair if you wish. In case of rain, etc. the program will be inside.

Wednesday, July 11 – 12:00-3:00 p.m.MAKE & TAKE CRAFT – Please bring a shirt, socks, pillowcase, or anything you wish to Tie Dye.
